The irony of human interactions
PEOPLE There is no denying that the most beautiful moments in life are because of our encounter with different people or experiencing their lives. People shape our experiences – the warmth when we come home after a long and exhausting day, the assurance that even if nobody’s there for you - “I am here” , the gratitude towards little blessings of life- the beautiful sunset or even the privilege to live a day and the most important - that a different shade of humanity exists. But at the same time, the biggest disappointment is - people, yet again. Just one experience and they leave us questioning- Isn’t a bit of civic sense, respect and humanity be fundamental? Is the decency to talk or the courtesy to inform too much to ask? Aren’t empathy and accountability supposed to be inherent personality traits. We can’t control who we meet or what experiences they bring- good, bad, full of lessons or regrets but as soon as we learn that it’s hampering our growth, peace and experie...
